The Hype Over Jamu Tun Teja

As some of you have already know, one of my high-school sweetheart has come up with her own Jamu product, which is known as Jamu Tun Teja. Growing up mostly under the influence of Indonesian Maids and beauty-conscious sisters, I know Jamu is one of the beauty supplement which is really good for women's internal health. I have seen my mom's maid, making Jamu from scratch and telling us how important it is to keep our body healthy so that our husbands wont stray around looking for ladies who are hotter and know how to take care of their appearance.

You see, Ive always understood that Jamu is related to SEX(which is a taboo topic among the Malays, excuse me) but boy was I wrong. After going through decades of life, i now realized that YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT, and whatever things that you put in your body will going to take affect in years to come if not for now.

Before this, I only take modern supplements(Collagen Shots, Vit C Injections, Gluta pills etc) to maintain the firmness and glow of my skin because I believe that modern supplements which are derived by the latest technology must be good for me, little do I realized that most of them contains more chemicals and radicals that are actually harmful to my body. and the fact that ive been neglecting the inner parts of my body(not only the vajayjay and miss bossoms, but my WHOLE body of course) then i realized that I have to go for the traditional way, opting for natural ingredients to boost up the effectiveness of the supplements after all the damaged that I have done throughout the years.

When this friend of mine introduced Jamu Tun Teja, a modern jamu, combining both traditional AND modern ingredients, i was HOOKED! like this is what ive been looking for! And knowing the founder, ever since high school, she is always the type who looks for the best products in the market to cater to her own usage, and i really trust her taste in coming up with a Jamu which is not only good for the internal health, it is also good for the skin and energy as well. Just by looking at the packaging, you'll know how exclusive Jamu Tun Teja is made.

Since Ive been skipping my daily intake of Jamu Tun Teja, I have come up with a plan to capture the journey of consuming this exclusive Jamu with my fellow readers and who knows by the end of my current or the next box, i might have some giveaway to any of you lucky readers! I'll probably start tomorrow or the day after ya!

Resepi Sambal Udang Petai Untuk 2 Orang Makan

Kemain detail tajuk post kalini
Dah nak habis puasa baru sedo diri ada blog tak terupdate kahkahkah.
Takpalah, boleh buat reference untuk masak hari hari kannnn.
Mula-mula kawin dulu, masak apa pun tak menjadik.
Goreng ikan pun jadik masin sebab tak reti nak gaul garam and kunyit.
Pastu dah everyday kena masak di rumah, jadi terel la sikit.
Feberet ni sambal udang petai, apa segala mak nenek dishes kalau ada petai mesti jadi peberet. hahaha
Resepi ni i guna cili boh yang beli special dekat Pakcik market Aloq Staq makanya cili boh dia takpayah buh garam sebab semua dah cukup rasa. Tambah gula jelah kalau nak kurang manis. Kalau nak senang dan tak kelamkabut masak, sediakan bahan2 letak dalam pinggan kecik dulu, nanti senang time masak takpayah tekejar sana sini nak cari cili boh dalam peti ais la, nak buka bekas garam etc.

Bahan-bahan:
        1)  Udang yang dah dibersihkan (Kalau rajin, kopekla kulit dia and buang tahikkk kat belakang
         badan dia tu.
        2) Cili boh (ikut la berapa banyak udang yang guna, kalau masak sikit macam 4-10 ekor size kecik gunala tak lebih dari satu senduk)
        3) Garam secukup rasa(kalau secukup rasa tu selalunya satu sudu kecik size kfc tu takpun half dari tu....kalau tak reti suka masukkan half dulu then rasa, tambah lagi jika perlu)
        4) Gula satu sudu besar
        5) Air asam jawa semangkuk kecik (bancuh asam jawa segumpal mcm bola pingpong dalam mangkuk kecik kfc)
        6) Maggi cukup rasa satu sudu kecik size kfc (Takmau letak pun takpa, ikut tekak masing-masing)
        7) Minyak masak satu senduk kecik
        8) Air satu mangkuk
        9) Bawang besar yang dipotong bulat2(I dah try guna bawang blend bawang merah+bawang putih tapi outcome dia kuah jadi mcm bersalut, tak cair me no likeee tapi ikut suka lah kalau suka kuah macam likat tu boleh la guna bawang blend)

Cara Memasak:
       1) Panaskan minyak, bila dah betul2 panas tumis cili boh sampai garing untuk elakkan rasa hamis. (Macam mana nak tau garing, kita biar sampai nampak minyak terapung kat atas, bila gaul nampak cili boh tu mcm kering2 tak banyak air mcm sebelum masa baru letak)
      2) Masa masukkan cili boh, boleh letakkan sekali gula dan garam. (cukup rasa kita letak last sekali)
      3) Masukkan air asam jawa, kalau tak cukup kuah lagi, kita tambah air.
      4) Masukkan petai(setengah orang suka masukkan petai last sebab nak preserve keras petai tu, terpulang la)
      5) Masukkan Udang dan bawang, dalam 5 minit macam tu, masukkan maggi cukup rasa. Biar lagi 5 minit, then siapppp!

Senangkan? Ikut satu-satu step ni, jangan derhaka,  inshallah menjadikla kalau untuk newbie yang tak reti masak tu. hahaha.

Cara Merawat Kucing Sakit Mata

Hi everyone!

If you dont already know, HZ and I adopted a stray kitten few months ago named Nobu.

Masa mula2 bawak balik tu terus bagi mandi sebab busuk sangat (we picked her up from the local fish market hence the strong fishy smell) Lepastu tengok macam mata dia sepet sebelah. Days after tu terus tengok penuh taik mata and takboleh buka dah sebelah mata dia eventhough dah lap2.
(alolo teruk nau rupa mcm sakit sangat2 je dia ni :P ohh kitorang lari budget mula2 bawak Nobu balik jadi i potong kotak toaster je buat jadi bilik dia hahaha)

At first for a few days I lap mata dia guna kapas rendam air biasa je siap titiskan air zamzam dalam mata dia pastu i googled rupanya tak elok ye buat camtu. Patutla dia menggelupur ja everytime. Lepastu i mula cuci mata dia dengan saline water(i guna contact lens solution tu) lama2 macam okayla sikit but mata dia still macam sepet sebelah tak baik2.

Dahtu, siap google lagi macam mana nak buat since dah bawak jumpa vet dekat government hospital time tu and dorang cakap memang akan macam tu sebab dia kitten lagi and patutnya mak dia yang jilat badan and mata segala. I was errr okay habistu sekarang tak baik2 i kena jilat dia ke apa? LOL (btw takpayahlah pergi klinik haiwan kerajaan/vet govt clinic dekat Kuala Terengganu ni tak bersungguh diorang check, siap sarcastic lagi bila kita cakap nak vaccin kucing sebab according to them ramai orang ke sana hanya utk vaccin hmmmm) I pergi pun sebab dah taktau katmana nak pergi private clinic/ klinik haiwan swasta kat sini.

Dah duk google tu terjumpa pasal ubat Terramycin apa lagi terus cari dekat pharmacy. Yes, ubat kucing ada jual dekat pharmacy manusia okay hahaha.

Balik tu terus letak dekat mata dia, amazingly besok tu terus baik. Bagus gilaaaa ubat ni.

Harga ubat ni dalam RM3-RM5 je kot untuk size kecik tapi kecik pun dah cukup sebab u akan guna like satu dot kecik je sapu terus dekat waterline mata dia and bila dia tutup mata tu mcm gosok2 sikit bagi ubat tu resap masuk mata dia.

Tadaaa dah sihat dah mata dia :D

#FoodReview - Nasi Lemak Bawah Rumah, Terengganu

Dah lama dengar pasal nasi lemak bawah rumah ni dekat Kuala Terengganu tapi takpenah2 lagi try sebab dia buka tengah malam ja T_T but ramai gilaaaaaa yang beratur beli. The name memang derived sebab makcik yang jual tu buka stall just below her house hehe.

According to HZ, orang ramai beli untuk jual for breakfast the next day.

Verdict? Bolehlaaaa. HZ suka tapi my tekak mcm tak berapa suka because it has this burnt taste in their sambal. I like sambal yang manis2 pedas. By the way,  nasi lemak situ ada lauk ikan/ayam ja. Harga around RM4ish(or maybe because we put chicken+boiled egg kot?)

Bolehla try kalau2 tetiba tengah malam lapar. Yang diet tu tengok jela, lol!

#FoodReview - Qawa Cafe

Hi semua!

Sesapa foodhunters or food lovers di Kuala Terengganu ni, mesti tau Qawa Cafe,
Hipster Cafe yang berkonsepkan dalam kontena.
Masa HZ and me pegi kitorang tried the Green Tea Latte(memang sedap gilaaaa setanding Starbucks') tapi dessert dia macam kureng sikit. Maybe dia focus more on beverages kot.
HZ minum iced chocolate pun sedap jugak.

Cafe ni boleh naik atas minum dalam kontena atas, the interior cantik gilaaa penuh dengan barang2 vintage. Bila baca review dekat twitter pasal Qawa Cafe ni, Rata-rata yang cakap price dia a bit pricey. Tapi bila try and tengok bahan2 yang dia guna, semua imported stuffs. Rasa pun memang sedap jadi berbaloi la bayar harga mahal2 macam tu(or maybe orang complain sebab harga fixed for only one size of coffee, tak macam other coffee joints yang price coffee dorang ikut size cup kan?).

I nak bagi direction pun I suck at Terengganu routes hahaha. But the cafe is situated at Jalan Budiman, kalau korang ada Waze, you can just key in Qawa Cafe. It is just across Kedai Rahsia(also a nice hipster cafe in Kuala Terengganu)

(Green Tea Latte dah selamat masuk perut baru teringat nak snap picture)

(Tempat kitorang minum dekat level atas, look at the interior behind HZ)

(Beriya nak ambik gambar tapi kulit gelap sangat hahaha, mungkin lepasni kena beli Qu Puteh kot?)

#FoodReview - Seoul Garden, Kuala Terengganu

Last night we decided to dine out, the hubs and I.
Duk la pikir nak makan Sushi King ke Thai food ke Seoul Garden yang baru buka dekat Terengganu ni.

Since Sushi King and Seoul Garden dekat bangunan yang sama kitorang pun decide ke Paya Bunga Square tu (The building yang ada both tempat tu la duhh)

Tetiba rasa macam eh jom makan Seoul Garden lah sebab rasa macam lapar gila pulak. Tengok price sign dekat luar tu since kitorang bukan member, harga sorang dalam RM38 so pikir2 dalam plus minus GST segala takkan lah lebih 90 kan. Ternyata kitorang salahhhhh. RM30++ tu untuk member.

Kalau bukan member sorang dalam RM42 without GST lepastu harga soup lain. kena ambik dua soup pulak tu sebab katanya setiap meja ada dua tempat soup. Lepastu campur dengan air (yerla takkan makan tak minum lak kannn) Total semua RM110++ wuuuu.

Rasa tertipu jap makan kat situ. Dulu pun rasa macam mahal tapi taklah semahal sekarang(dulu maksud 4 tahun lepas lol)
Since birthday HZ dah nak dekat makanya i cakap tu pre birthday treat lah kan. kesian, celebrate dekat Seoul Garden je. But okayla sebab semua sedap. and buffet style kan boleh melantak banyak.

Gambar dalam Seoul Garden tak sempat lak nak ambik sebab ramai nau orang, tapi macam very convenient and bersih gila. berasap2 kauu sebab dorang letak ice ke dry ice ke apa tah dekat bawah wet food tu. Of course my favorite would be coffee beef.. Tercari2 peanut sauce and icecream honeydew tapi macam dah tak wujud je.

Seronok betul makan dkt sini sebab ramai chinese, not being racist tapi bila pindah sini rasa mcm jarang nampak kaum chinese. Stay dekat kedah my housing area mostly chinese and pergi gym pun yang penuh chinese. I love chinese people sebab dorang tak menyibuk hal orang lain lol.

Eh terbabas cerita pulak. Okay bebalik kepada Seoul Garden. Kalau sesapa di Kuala Terengganu teringin nak try boleh la pergi Paya Bunga Square, Tingkat 1.

#ZoeReviews - Pure Marine Collagen

Aha anyone who knows me should know that i have a huge obsession over any beauty products or supplements be it vit c,collagens, placenta etc. Trust me ive tried MOST products in the market and i could even write a book on beauty tips and whatnots lol. Sama macam diet and fitness pun. Hahaha. Ok and sooo ive been hearing reviews pasal pure marine collagenz the seaweed / rumpai laut thingy. At first i hesitate nak try because dalam hati macam " ahh another beauty products yg indah khabar dari kesan" haha but then when i went back to my mom's house she told me that my aunty bought the seaweed from Sabah and she turned them into these collagen jelly and i gave in. I tried, and.... I LOVED IT!! First few days try dah nampak my stretch marks - faded! Not entirely but yeaaaaaaaa!! Syok nyaaaaaaaa. And i noticed less blemishes on my face and my skin turned a bit fairer. Hihihihi. Ok serious ni bukan nak promote or anything but im telling u based on my own experience taking the collagen. In fact im helping mom make the second batch now, zzz lambat btul nak siap. Yesterday tersalah rendam sat sangat so tak berapa jadi then had to throw it away so this time kena rendam whole night lepastu besok baru start rebus sampai hancur. Mom usually take it with horlicks but i take it with sunquick cuz i cant stand the smell hahaha. But uve to be aware that u cant take too much caffeine if ure taking collagen sebab nanti caffeine will flush away the collagen from ur body. If u HAVE to drink coffee jugak make sure jarakkan the intake. And not too much mmmkay? Hehe ohhh one more thingggg dont be fooled by the price yang org jual online, pure marine collagen dekat sabah betul2 pure ony about RM10-RM17 ja per kilo.. Yang jual sampai RM20ish per 100gram tu mahal melampauu. Theres no such thing as kalau murah tak original. Benda tu plants la mana boleh org buat fake plants hahaha. Ok dah stop now. Leave your comments if ada nak tanya i anythingg ya?

Take care lovers!! :)

#HotelReview - Lone Pine Hotel, Penang

Hi semua!

Dah lama tak buat review hotel, azam tahun ni nak banyak berjalan and try out hotels tak kisah lah hotel mahal ka murah, ni semua throwback yang lama2 disebabkan ada pictures(walaupun tak banyak) tapi nak share jugak.

Kalau sebut Penang ja mesti akan terbayang food heaven and memang heaven pun lay sedap2 makanan mcm laksa, nasik kandaq, mee udang, char koew teow, rojak buah, pasembor etc. Some people kalau nak berjalan tu ada yang sanggup spend duit lebih sikit untuk hotel yang best2,ada yang selesa sewa apartment kalau pergi ramai2 and ada yang jenis pentingkan budget stay dekat backpackers hostel/hotel budget.

For those yang suka try out hotels, and tak kisah dengan budget, bolehla try stay dekat Lone Pine Hotel. Honestly for me, kalau nak compare shangri la or Hard Rock Hotel, i would prefer Lone Pine Hotel sebab the interior is nice and bilk pun well-maintained. I didn't manage to snap pictures banyak but you can look through dot Tripadvisor punya page pun banyak pictures yang you can see, but these are among the pictures which I managed to snap;

Bilik ni comes with a small private tub outside defat balcony. boleh la kalau nak relax2 duk dkt luar mandi dalam tub sambil tengok scenery pantai(or in my case tengok bumbung ja sebab seaview dah penuh dat time hahaha)

Nice kan the room, the bathroom is HUGE and spacious. bestttttt, the room comes with a small private lounge or a small room. ada comfy sofa yg boleh tidur jugak hahaha.

Their gym yang memang well equipped and best lah.

The breakfast spread best jugak and ada wide varieties of food for u to choose from. Overall i think price wise memang worth it. Prices of the room start from RM500 above. The address is as follow;

Lone Pine Hotel
97 Batu Ferringhi, 11100 Batu Feringgi, Malaysia
